tamson who?
Hello, and welcome to my site. I am Jessica Tamson, artist and faux-taxidermist. I am an artist residing in upstate New York, and I sculpt creatures from my imagination. Perhaps they are my visions of mutation form metaphysical journeys into the future. Mabey they are what I think little fabulous creatures SHOULD look like. HUMMmmmmmmm.
I am also a photographer, printmaker and installation artist, however somehow my artistic journey brought me to creating hunting trophies of the creatures of my mind.
I hope you had fun checking out my website. That is what its all about. Please email me at jessica@fauxtaxidermy.com, I work on commission and enjoy doing installations as well. Presently I am working and sculpting in Kingston NY, (a very rad small city on the Hudson River, 90 miles north of NYC) with my two fabulous cats cosmo and stella.
Hi! I heard about you on “It’s a Purl, Man”.
I was wondering about a future commission. My fiance really wants a moose head for his classroom. He is a high school bio teach. I love the mythical stuff you have done. Does this spark your imagination? Do you have an idea of a price quote?

Hi! I was admiring your work at the Bazaar Bizarre today, especially a white jackalope type piece (which I now rather regret not buying). I think your work is great! It’s so unique.
I came to your page and noticed that you’re from Kingston, NY. I’m living in Boston now, but I’m from Ellenville, NY! I hope to have a chance to buy one of your pieces in the future!

Hi, I am doing a little piece on faux taxidermy for my blog. I will be including a few of my favorite examples and would love to include a picture of
Greenie. I would be happy to post a link to your blog with the picture.
Great Work!
