I just realized the last time I posted anything it was December! Well the faux-taxidermist has been taking a break from hunting, but will soon resume creating some beasties. I have a few personal projects for my friends and family, which is always extra special. One thing I have have been missing lately is reading books. When I lived in NYC I always managed to read. Being in school has basically killed any time I would have to read “for fun”. Getting back to the studio and reading books are the two things on my priority list for summer. I am going to attempt to get off the internet except to email. I have felt too much “on the grid” recently. Anyways I hope everyone is having a FABULOUS day and summer ahead…. and in a few months I will have a new body of work to enjoy!!!!

Hey everyone!

I hope everyone is enjoying their holiday season and not letting the superficial capitialistic madness get them down. I usually participate in the Boston Bizzare Bazzare at this time of the year, however due to the fact I am finishing up my teaching degree I have chosen not to. HOWEVER, I do have some FABULOUS pieces available still at the Blue Cashew in High Falls NY (see link to the right), as well as some that I can sell directly. And I am still available for custom orders, that can be shipped to you by Christmas. I especially love my latest series I produced for the Make Believe show at Blue Cashew, the new skin effects are fabulous. Please check out their lovely shop to see them, however photos will be up VERY soon, please forgive my long-delayed updating of my site. My latest and most favorite series is not even posed in my gallery! OH MY!!!

After a serious break that was well needed, I am back to production mode! I am working on a fresh new series for the Make Believe? show at BlueCashew (see link in my blogroll), opening September 6th, 2008. The BlueCashew is one of my favorite shops, located in High Falls, NY. Owned by my dear friends Sean Nutley and Gregory Triana, two men who have earned my respect and admiration!

Thanks for your compliments and support at the 2007 Bazzare. It was worth all the hours slaving away locked up in creature making isolation.Thanks to the boston roller derby ladies who bought a lot of my favorite pieces…..those ladies have good taste! If you are one of them please send me an email so we can get linked up. In fact anyone who owns a piece of mine please send me and email! i love to correspond. Anyone who wants to be on an email list just send me an email as well… ill work on getting this site a bit more easy to do that as well.
The work that did not sell and that I will not be giving away will be on the site for sale in about a week, keep checking the site for updates.
Also, by the end of this week I will be posting the images of the winter 07 series for your enjoyment.
